InSpace Software was founded in 2019 with a simple goal: build practical software that solves real problems.
The company grew out of hands-on experience. While selling LEGO through BrickLink and BrickOwl, it became clear that existing order and inventory tools did not fully support the daily workflows of small sellers. With a background in software development and automation, a custom solution was developed to better support daily orders more efficiently.
That project became BLS Manager. Initially created for personal use, it was later shared with other sellers, where it quickly gained a small but active user base. BLS Manager remains a free tool and is still used by sellers today.
As more users adopted the software, the need for reliable multi-marketplace synchronization became clear. This led to the development of InSpaceSync, a hosted synchronization service that has been running continuously and reliably since its launch. InSpaceSync is a paid service and forms the core of InSpace Software’s ongoing development and support work.
Although InSpace Software is run by a single developer, it is shaped by continuous feedback from its users and customers. Ideas, feature requests, and real-world use cases play a large role in how products evolve.
Over the years, additional utilities were released under the InSpace Software name, including IdleLock and BLS Backup, each focused on solving a specific, practical problem without unnecessary complexity.
The trade name “The Bug” was originally used for LEGO sales on online marketplaces. Since early 2025, LEGO sales have been fully discontinued in order to focus entirely on software development, maintenance, and customer support.
At the end of 2025, development started on BrickSpace, a next-generation application intended to unify and modernize the functionality of existing tools. BrickSpace is currently in early development and represents the future direction of the platform.
InSpace Software is based in the Netherlands and remains committed to building reliable, understandable software that supports real workflows — without hype, lock-in, or unnecessary complexity.
